Requirements:
Age: The participant must be between the age of 8-16 by August 1st, 2026.
Swim Ability: All participants must be able to tread water or float continuously for at least 5 minutes. Ages 8–12: Must swim 100 yards in under 2 minutes.
Ages 13–16: Must swim 100 yards in under 1 minute 45 seconds.
*Swim tests must be completed before the first day of instruction. Tests can be recorded at any pool of your choice that has a measurable length. We will also accept records of swims from official competitions.
Behavior: Surf Rescue Team is a positive environment for everyone. Foul language, inappropriate behavior, and other negative actions can result in removal from the program.
