Parker Brown: Founder/Lead Instructor

Hi, my name is Parker Brown. I have been an Ocean Lifeguard/EMT and Junior Lifeguard instructor in Oceanside for 8 years.

I have a background in water polo, prone paddling, surfing, and mountaineering. All of these hobbies have been made possible by others teaching me the skills and helping me push my limits. I now have a passion to do the same for the youth in our community. After 4 years of planning, I am beyond stoked to offer an advanced program for all of the motivated young watermen/women in our community.

Wyatt Wagner: Co-Founder

Hi my name is Wyatt, I’ve been an ocean lifeguard and instructor for the past seven years, and teaching in the water is something I truly love. Working with kids and helping them build confidence in the ocean is one of the most rewarding parts of the job for me.

"I've always been an athlete and take pride in leading by example. I focus on creating a positive, encouraging environment where kids feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn. Being part of Surf Rescue Team allows me to share my experience, passion for the ocean, and respect for water safety with the next generation."

Molly Souza: Instructor

Hi my name is Molly and I’m going into my 4th summer as an ocean lifeguard. I’ve always been passionate about staying active and any sport revolving around the water. I grew up swimming competitively and participating in open ocean swims and water polo tournaments. I now am playing D1 water polo for UCSB where I have the honor to be a captain, and am also receiving a degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences. Chances are this summer you can catch me at the beach or in another body of water!

Aubrey Wagner: Instructor

Hi, my name is Aubrey, I have been lifeguarding for 4 years and have grown up loving the ocean, playing waterpolo and swimming in high school. I was captain of my swim team and graduated last year. Now I'm finishing my freshmen year of college at the University of Missouri. I'm very ambitious in every aspect of my life including training for my first half marathon and getting my masters in 4 yrs. Fun fact about me is that I was taught to swim before I could walk. My favorite season is summer and can’t wait for this one to be epic!!!

Hi my name is Zack Sharp, I have worked for 4 years as a beach lifeguard and I'm currently studying nursing at California Baptist University. Over the past five years, I’ve been teaching kids how to swim, surf, and build confidence in the ocean while staying safe and having fun. I grew up in the water playing water polo and spending my summers in junior lifeguards which helped shape my passion for ocean and outdoor sports. A fun fact about myself is that I love to play the guitar.
