Parker Brown: Founder/Head Instructor
Hi, my name is Parker Brown. I have been an Ocean Lifeguard/EMT and Junior Lifeguard instructor in Oceanside for 8 years.
I have a background in water polo, prone paddling, big wave surfing, and mountaineering. All of these hobbies have been made possible from others teaching me skills and to respect and love mother nature. I now have a passion for doing the same for the youth in our community.
"Surf Rescue Team has been an idea in the works for over four years, inspired by seeing motivated kids held back in oversized programs and watching Lifesaving Teams when I lived on the Gold Coast of Australia. SRT was created to offer focused instruction for each participant."

I’ve been an ocean lifeguard and instructor for the past seven years, and teaching in the water is something I truly love. Working with kids and helping them build confidence in the ocean is one of the most rewarding parts of the job for me.
