Carlsbad Surf Rescue Team Summer 2026

Advanced Youth Ocean Skills & Safety Program

Session 1: Starts on June 22nd, Ends on July 2nd, Monday - Thursday, 9am-2pm

Session 2: Starts on July 13th, Ends on July 23rd, Monday - Thursday, 9am-2pm

Location: Carlsbad Village Drive Beach Access Stairs.

Age Requirements: 8-16 years old.

The Curriculum

This is what your kids are going to tell you about when you pick them up from Surf Rescue Team each day. This exact curriculum is also given to the instructors of Surf Rescue Team to act as a guide when planning out the activities for each day and maintaining a highly structured program.

Hi, my name is Parker Brown. I have been an Ocean Lifeguard/EMT and Junior Lifeguard instructor in Oceanside for 8 years.
"Surf Rescue Team has been an idea in the works for over four years, inspired after watching Lifesaving Teams practice when I lived on the Gold Coast of Australia. SRT was created to offer focused instruction for every teammate."
