Surf Rescue Team is open to kids aged 8-16.

Our Instructor to Student ratio is maxed out at 1-10. This ensures safe and productive teachings and not letting anyone slip through the cracks!

No, you are not required to have any prior ocean experience. You do need to know how to swim well to pass the swim test and we will build upon those skills.

For drop-off & pick-up please arrive 15 minutes early. Enter from the North on Ocean St, be ready to unload/pickup at the top of the Carlsbad Village Drive Stairs, and Exit eastbound on Carlsbad Village Dr. There is also free parking in the area if you would like to park and come hang out!

Rain or shine, we will be able to operate and continue with our program. If there is lighting we will remain out of the water for an hour after the last strike or until lifeguards advice it is safe to enter.

If there is availability in the session you are looking to switch to it is an easy switch. Email surfrescueteam42@gmail.com. There is a $50 administrative fee for switching.

Refunds are given up to 2 weeks before the start of the session with a $100 fee for uniform (you can still get). After 2 weeks refunds will be offered on a case by case basis.
